The only reason offense is bad is because blocking is far too simple and parrying is nothing more than a kneejerk reaction. I always hear the argument that 400ms lights are good because they unreactable and defending them is prediction based.

1 points submitted 3 months agoOne you can bend the guide rods by simply pulling them out of the case, the cheap aluminum casted clamps are bad and tightening them leaves much to be desired allowing your system to much more easily mar your blade finish. The stones are bad unless you spring for the diamonds and even then a good number of refurbish jobs with modern steels or resetting of the edge will kill the stone which I done multiple times. Where you outfit the stone on to the guide rod can also be accidentally changed by a degree or so leaving your next grit finish uneven.
I would say it cost about 100$ to put together (not including the toys), which isn bad considering how expensive parrot trees are. Nothing is glued so it can easily be taken apart to wash / disinfect. It also custom built to fit on the little step I have in front of the fireplace..
